Gytis Dovydaitis

Gytis Dovydaitis is an artistic director, Ph. D. student in digital art, lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University & Estonian Academy of Arts. Gytis has 10 years of experience in culture management, media arts, and teaching. Gytis’ Ph.D. project is on the philosophy of space, the internet, and internet art. He’s currently working on Artificial Intelligence and software-based art projects, Ph.D. research, and multiple teaching responsibilities. Topics covered in Gytis’ classes include, but are not limited to internet culture, internet art, NFTs, blockchain, memes, media philosophy, hyperreality to name a few. Creativity is Gytis’ motto. He’s exploring the infinite potentialities of the Real by probing the present moment with art and philosophy as excavation tools.
